While we specialize in walking tours, Madame History is happy to work with groups traveling by bus too. We do not own or operate tour buses but we do offer step-on guide services to provide your group with engaging narrated tours for your large group bus or motor coach tour visit to the Bangor region.

We’ll work with you to create a tour that will interest your guests – whether seniors, schools, vacation clubs, family reunions, business gatherings, or other private group functions.

Tours can include colorful tales of Maine’s cultural heritage, historic architecture, mysteries and ghost tales, and Maine’s natural landscape.

Let us entertain and educate your guests while seeing the sights of the region, adding insight and interest to their trip with you. Each tour will include at least one stop for which guests may disembark and take photos. A walking tour component can also be added, should you wish.

Owner Monique Bouchard is an area native who has worked in cultural heritage interpretation since 2015 and is a National Association for Interpretation Certified Interpretive Guide.

Madame History has a network of experienced storytellers who may be available for hire, including specialists in historic seafaring, cryptozoology, Maine’s Indigenous culture, the lumber industry, and more.
